August 21, 2010 Kristen and Chris St. Jean planned for over a year to set the perfect tone for their “island style” wedding. What a blast we had at Nashoba Valley Ski Resort in Westford, MA (The Sunset Tiki Bar area). I had the honor of performing their ceremony at 7 PM and from there the party was non stop until midnight.
Kristen wore a beautiful gown and Chris was in a khaki suit; once their formal photos were done, they wasted no time changing into island attire, so they’d fit right in with their guests. We were all asked to come in Hawaiian/island style clothing, it was mandatory J. As guests arrived, each person was given an Hawaiian lei.
Mike Barry & his crew did a fantastic job taking care of everyone, there was plenty of food and drinks. Bob Lucas from Pan Loco Steel Band played for the cocktail hour – it was a fabulous, fun addition to the whole wedding theme. We all felt like we were really in the islands.
Erica Hackworth had a great time taking photos all evening – especially when one of Kristen and Chris’s friends jumped in the water on a dare! What a party, we had a blast DJing for you – we’re glad we all met at The Sports Zone, so we could be part of your special day! Hope you had a great time on your honeymoon overseas.
